Lottie Shaw’s Shortlisted for Deliciously Yorkshire Award

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted by Deliciouslyorkshire for their annual awards.
Each year Deliciouslyorkshire searches high and low for the finest quality food and drink Yorkshire has to offer and with everything from goat ice-cream to edible flowers shortlisted, Yorkshire’s produce is as diverse as the county itself.
Our ‘Seriously Good’ Yorkshire Parkin has been shortlisted in the best bakery category. The winners will be announced on September 25 at York’s National Rail Museum where guest will enjoy an evening sampling some of Yorkshires finest produce.
Those responsible for deciding the shortlist includes head judge and BBC radio and television food and drink presenter Nigel Barden, food critics from The Press and Yorkshire Post and chefs Neil Nugent and Matthew Benson Smith.
Head judge Nigel Barden went on to say that “It’s been an amazingly nourishing few weeks, taste-testing all the fantastic produce and hospitality this county has to offer. As usual, it’s been incredibly tough narrowing it down to just four contenders in each category, but we feel these producers genuinely represent all that’s great and gourmet about Yorkshire and deserve their place in the final – congratulations to everyone who’s got this far!”
