‘Eat and Tweet’ Dinner at Drewton’s To Showcase Yorkshire’s Finest Food & Drink
Posted on January 20, 2013
This Saturday (2 February) will see the first of two ‘Eat and Tweet’ events at Drewton’s Farm Shop where guests will be served a special six course menu featuring some of Yorkshire’s finest food and drink.
Taking on a ‘Come Dine With Me’ theme, the evening will have a unique flavour as diners will be joined by the producers themselves who will be able to talk to the guests about what makes their product so special.
Diners will be encouraged to ‘tweet’ their experiences throughout the evening and those not present will be able to follow the events on Twitter with the hashtag #EatAndTweet.
Katie Taylor of Drewton’s has spoken about her customer’s interest in discovering more about how and where their food is produced and went on to say that “enabling them to meet and dine with the local food and drink producers who have supplied the ingredients for their meal would be an interesting take on the ‘Come Dine With Me’ theme”.
By adding the ‘Eat and Tweet’ concept everyone involved will benefit as ‘Eat and Tweet’ organiser Dave Lee explains: “The restaurant enjoys unique, online promotion, the tweeters at home get to see and hear about a restaurant they may not know about, and the diners, obviously, have a fantastic night out.”
This is a unique opportunity for you to enjoy the food and company of some of Yorkshire’s finest producers.
